The Beau Monde is a recognized chapter of Romance Writers of America. Our purpose is to promote excellence in romantic fiction, set primarily in the Regency period (1811-1820)
Membership in the Beau Monde offers authors the following range of resources, and all Romance Writers America members in good standing are invited to join the Beau Monde.

The Regency Realm is the Beau Monde’s compendium of references on Regency England. This annotated bibliography contains over 900 references, including books, magazines, videos, and websites.
The Regency Academe offers a range of classes held online throughout the year.
The Beau Monde hosts Regency historical events to be presented at RWA’s annual conference e.g. Workshops, High Tea, Soiree with Dancing, Regional Educational Visits etc.

The Regency Reader is Beau Monde’s free emailed newsletter for anyone interested in Regency romances. This free monthly publication features a listing of new and upcoming titles, author interviews and tidbits about the Regency era.
The Royal Ascot is Beau Monde’s contest devoted to the promotion of Regency Romances by encouraging the development of authors who set stories in the Regency Period. All entries must have at least partial Regency (Late Georgian) setting, broadly defined: within the United Kingdom between 1780 and 1840.
